Effective 2026. Operator: Ab616 Ltd (England & Wales).

1. The service

Shelflife is a Founder Operating System for UK consumer brand (FMCG) founders. It provides a methodology, templates, an AI coach (ShelfAi) and a Build in Public feed. By creating an account you agree to these Terms.

2. Eligibility

You must be 18 or over and capable of forming a legally binding contract.

3. Subscriptions, billing, refunds

Shelflife sells two paid subscription tiers via Apple In-App Purchase and Google Play Billing: Growth (£29 per month, or £290 per year) and Growth + Investment (£79 per month, or £790 per year). Growth + Investment includes a 7-day free trial.

Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. Renewal charges are applied through your Apple App Store or Google Play account at the price in effect at the time of renewal. We will notify you in-app if a renewal price changes before it takes effect.

Manage or cancel your subscription through your device's subscription settings: App Store → Apple ID → Subscriptions, or Google Play → Subscriptions. Apple and Google handle refunds per their published policies; Shelflife cannot directly issue refunds for IAP purchases.

4. Acceptable use

  • Don't post abusive, defamatory, hateful or illegal content.
  • Don't impersonate other founders, investors or buyers.
  • Don't scrape, reverse-engineer or attempt to defeat rate limits.
  • Don't share your account credentials.
  • Don't use the service to send unsolicited bulk outreach.

Violations may result in content removal, account suspension or termination without refund.

5. ShelfAi

ShelfAi is an AI coach powered by Anthropic Claude. ShelfAi outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete or outdated and should not be relied upon as legal, tax, accounting, investment or financial advice. You are responsible for reviewing every AI-generated draft before sending, posting, signing or filing it. We do not warrant accuracy, completeness or fitness for purpose. Cohort benchmarking and AI outputs are indicative only and should not be the sole basis for any investment, accounting, tax, legal or business decision.

6. Your content

You retain ownership of every brand name, founder note, forecast, deck, photo, post and message you put in Shelflife. You grant Ab616 Ltd a worldwide, non-exclusive licence to store, process, analyse, display and aggregate that content solely to operate, improve and provide the service, including anonymised cohort benchmarking. We do not sell your data and do not train AI models on it.

7. Community content

Content posted with Community visibility may be seen by other signed-in founders. You're responsible for not posting confidential information you didn't mean to publish.

8. Account termination

Delete your account from Settings → Privacy and data → Delete my account. We schedule permanent deletion after a 7-day grace window. Signing in within the window cancels deletion.

9. Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ab616 Ltd is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss. Total liability is capped at the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud or death or personal injury caused by negligence.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes are emailed to account holders at least 14 days before they take effect.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
